This notice explains what UPEPO Consulting Limited does with the personal information it receives through this website and in reply to enquiries. Last updated 29 October 2026.

UPEPO Consulting Limited (company number 17374080, registered office Melrose House, The Parade, Sandsend, Whitby YO21 3SZ) is the controller of that information. Questions about it go to Hugo Armstrong at hugo@upepoconsulting.com.

What is collected

Through the contact form: your name, company, email address, phone number if you give one, the service and sector you selected, and what you wrote. If you email or phone instead, the message and any notes of the call.

The website host also records standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser and the pages you visited, to keep the site secure and working.

How it is used, and where it is kept

Your details are used to reply to you and, if a piece of work follows, to scope, deliver and invoice it. The legal basis is legitimate interests in answering enquiries, and, where work follows, taking steps towards and performing a contract. Your details are not sold, shared for marketing, or added to a mailing list.

The site and its contact form are hosted by Wix.com, which stores form submissions on UPEPO’s behalf as a data processor. Wix may process data outside the UK under the safeguards it provides. Email is handled by UPEPO’s email provider on the same basis.

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Records of client work, including invoices, are kept for six years, as UK tax law requires, and then deleted.

Cookies

The site uses the cookies Wix needs to run it securely and remember basic settings, and may collect anonymised visitor statistics. No advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking cookies are used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site may not work fully without the essential ones.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the information held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, ask for its use to be restricted, or object to it being used. Email hugo@upepoconsulting.com and you will get a reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
